The walk
Concrete paths wind through open grass and shade trees, and a full lap of the main grounds is roughly 300 to 400 metres. You pass the playground, a small skate area and outdoor fitness gear.
Park on Ethel Street, and use the bins along the main paths.

Daisy Coffee Shop is in Forestville, and Goodwood Oval is close by for a second lap.
When to go
Early morning or after 5pm gives you the off-lead window and cooler air. It suits a quick daily outing more than a long walk.
