Dugalup Brook Reserve

Dugalup Brook Reserve follows a small, restored creekline through Dunsborough, linking pockets of bushland to the coast. It is a quiet on-lead walk with more nature in it than most town paths.

The City of Busselton lists Dugalup Brook Reserve as an on-lead area, and dogs must stay on a lead at all times along its paths.

The walk

The route uses the city's concrete and asphalt footpaths beside the brook. Remnant native vegetation and mature trees line the creek and give natural shade.

The creekline has been brought back through restoration work and community planting days, so stay on the paths and leave the new plantings be.

Before you go

Parking is on nearby streets. Dog bins and bowls vary along the reserve, so carry bags and bring water for the dog.

Max: This is a restoration site. Keep noses out of the revegetation and the lead short near the creek.

When to go

On a warm day the tree cover makes it a kinder choice than open streets. It suits calm dogs who enjoy a slow sniff more than a run.
