Artezen

Artezen is a licensed Mediterranean-inspired cafe and bar at Suite 1/234 Naturaliste Terrace, right in the Dunsborough town centre. It runs brunch every day from 8am to 2pm and adds evening service Thursday to Saturday, and the streetside alfresco tables are where dogs are welcome. For a beach day in Geographe Bay, it is the easy first stop on the main strip.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor alfresco tables on Naturaliste Terrace, with room to settle at your feet. The venue is reported to keep water bowls and treats on hand for canine customers, though carrying your own bowl is always the safe backup. Only service animals go inside, so plan on outdoor dining in all weather.

The vibe and the food

Brunch is the strong suit: the kitchen turns out french toast, potato rosti, crepes and eggs Florentine with salmon, alongside a steak sandwich that gets repeat orders. The coffee and chai rate well with regulars. Evening service Thursday to Saturday shifts to Mediterranean sharing plates, gnocchi and local wines and cocktails, which makes it an all-day option rather than a breakfast-only stop.

Getting there and parking

Street parking runs along Naturaliste Terrace with public car parks a short walk away, and the whole Dunsborough town centre is walkable, so the walk from the car with a dog is short. If you are staying centrally, you can leave the car behind entirely.

Close by with the dogs

The Dunsborough foreshore is a short walk for an on-leash coastal stroll, and the City of Busselton designates dog exercise zones on the beaches towards Old Dunsborough, so check the local signage for off-leash hours before you go. Evviva Cafe, the all-day brunch spot next door at 1/233 Naturaliste Terrace, is the other dog-friendly table on the strip.
