Blue Manna Bistro

Blue Manna Bistro is an acclaimed WA seafood restaurant at 1/16 Cyrillean Way, in a small complex just off Naturaliste Terrace in the Dunsborough town centre. It is casual in manner but serious about the kitchen, and dogs are welcome in the outside garden, with one seasonal catch worth getting right before you book.

The dog setup

Over summer, dogs are welcome in the leafy rear garden area. They are generally not allowed on the main alfresco terrace, so name your seating when you book or check on arrival rather than assuming the two are interchangeable.

There is no house water bowl, so bring your own, and a dog comfortable lying close to other diners will settle more easily here than in the garden of a quieter cafe. Staff are used to dogs at the garden tables in the busy season.

Worth knowing

The menu runs to fresh local seafood with Asian-influenced flavours: oysters and mussels, a garlic prawn hot pot, soft shell crab and a fish of the day that changes with the catch. Opening hours are tighter than a standard restaurant: dinners Tuesday through Thursday, lunches Friday and Saturday, closed Sundays and Mondays, so plan the dog-friendly lunch for the end of the week.

The bistro sits a two-minute walk off the Dunsborough town centre, with street and complex parking around Cyrillean Way and the foreshore a short stroll away for the pre-dinner leg stretch.
