Sora Cafe sits right on the foreshore at 26-28 Geographe Bay Road, a bright coastal cafe built around local, seasonal food. The dog-relevant draw is simple: it is walk-in only, open daily 7am to 2pm, and the outdoor tables sit a step from the beachside path, so it works as the start or end of a morning coastal walk.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome on a leash in the outdoor, undercover and footpath seating. Staff are known to be friendly to pets and will often bring water, but a travel bowl is worth packing.

Good to know. The menu runs healthy-leaning brunch and lunch: a 24-hour slow-cooked beef brisket melt, a Margaret River farmhouse bacon and egg roll, avo and tomato rolls, and granola bowls.

Getting there. Parking is limited directly out front on Geographe Bay Road, with more town parking a short walk away. The foreshore pedestrian path runs right past, so walking in is often easier than driving.

Nearby with the dogs. The Dunsborough foreshore path allows dogs on-leash between Gifford Road and the Centennial Park car park. Some nearby beach zones have summer restrictions, so check local signage before letting the lead off.

Best earlier in the day before the foreshore fills. Good for dogs happy to settle beside a busy walking path.
