Bundock Park

Bundock Park sits above Clovelly Bay on Eastbourne Avenue in Clovelly, where the coastal walkway crosses grassy lawn between sandstone cliffs. Dogs are welcome on a lead, and the park is not an off-leash area.

Lead rules

Randwick City Council keeps dogs on lead here, and they must stay more than 10 metres from the children's playground. Dogs are also not allowed on the beach or the rock platforms below.

The walk

The paved path through the park forms part of the coastal walkway, with turf on either side. Look down over the sheltered water of Clovelly Bay, framed by sandstone cliffs and native planting.

It is a short stretch, best used as a scenic link along the coast rather than a walk in its own right.

Water and shade

Bubblers are dotted around the wider coastal reserve, but carry a bottle anyway. Trees and planting give moderate shade, while the open grass is exposed.

Bins are around the park and nearby streets. Street parking is on Eastbourne Avenue, with a car park near Clovelly Beach.

For a coffee, The Lion and Buffalo is in South Coogee, and Latham Park is another on-lead walk nearby.

It suits an on-lead stroll with a sea view, and the exposed lawn is most comfortable in the cooler part of the day.
