Braybrook Park

Braybrook Park on Churchill Avenue pairs paved walking paths with something most local parks lack: grassy mounds where dogs are allowed off lead.

Leads and the off-lead area

Maribyrnong City Council allows dogs off lead on the mound areas only. Everywhere else in the park, including the paths, dogs must be on a lead.

Dogs are not allowed in the playground at any time, so steer around it.

The walk

The paths are paved concrete and easy going. The route passes the Braybrook Commons Community Gardens and sculptures by local artists, which give the walk more to look at than a plain oval.

Max: Clip the lead back on before leaving the mounds. The paths and the playground edge are on-lead ground.
