Boronia Park

A few minutes from Epping Station, Boronia Park wraps a circuit path around a big sports oval. It is a flat, straightforward on-lead loop for a quick walk or jog between the shops and home.

Lead rules

The City of Parramatta allows dogs in the park on lead at all times. Keep them at least 10 metres from the children's play spaces.

The walk

The circuit path is partly paved and partly not, and it runs right around the oval. You pass the playgrounds and an outdoor gym, with gum trees and other mature trees shading parts of the edge.

The stretches beside the oval itself are open, so it gets warm there in summer.

Getting started

There are entries from Bridge Street, Kent Street and the Coles car park, with parking off Bridge Street. Drinking fountains sit near the amenities block and play areas, and bins are spread through the grounds.

Pair it with

For off-lead time, West Epping Park Fenced Dog Park is the local choice. Ellie's Espresso Cafe and Bar is handy afterwards.

Being flat and short, the loop suits older dogs and busy weekday walks.
