Billabong Outlook Circuit Walk

The Billabong Outlook Circuit is a short, flat loop inside Berrinba Wetlands, next door to Browns Plains and reached from Wayne Goss Drive. Wide concrete paths, good shade and water birds on the billabongs make it an easy outing for older dogs and puppies.

Lead rules

Logan City Council manages the wetlands, and dogs stay on lead the whole way. There is no off-lead area anywhere in the reserve.

The walk

The circuit is a gentle loop of well under a kilometre, on smooth, wide concrete that also takes prams and wheelchairs. If your dog wants more, it joins the wider wetland path network.

Tall eucalypts and melaleucas shade much of the way. Dog bag dispensers and bins sit near the main entries, with covered picnic tables, benches and barbecues for a rest afterwards.

When to go

Flat, shaded and short, it suits senior dogs, young pups and anyone pushing a pram. On hot days go early and bring water for the dog.
