Ingenia Holidays Noosa

Ingenia Holidays Noosa is a family holiday park in Tewantin with caravan and camping sites plus cabins, and it is one of the few Noosa-area parks that designates specific pet-friendly cabins alongside pet sites. That makes it a practical base if you want roofed accommodation rather than a tent with a dog in tow.

Dogs at the park

Pets are only permitted in the designated pet-friendly cabins and on designated caravan and camping sites, and every pet must be declared at booking and approved by park management. The standing rules: dogs on a secure lead whenever they are outside your site or cabin, never left unattended, and kept quiet enough not to disturb the neighbours. Excessive barking or aggression can see a booking ended without refund. Expect the usual holiday-park exclusions from the pool, camp kitchen and amenities blocks, and a minimum $200 cleaning fee if a pet soils a cabin. Vaccination records can be requested, so have them handy.

The vibe

It is a classic family park with a camp kitchen, games room and pool, busy through school holidays and quieter in the shoulder seasons. The park suits dogs that settle well around other families and kids; leads stay on the whole time, so this is not a place for a dog that needs off-lead time on site. Pet cabins are limited and book out early for peak periods, so lock in the pet approval when you book rather than assuming it at the gate.

While you're out there

The Noosa North Shore car ferry is a short drive up the road and opens up the long dog-friendly beach stretch on the far side of the river. Sunshine Beach's off-leash area is another solid beach option, and Shorehaven Park in Noosaville covers off-lead exercise closer to town.
