Ingenia Holidays Noosa North sits across the river from Tewantin on Noosa North Shore, a short car-ferry hop from town and only minutes from the region's best-known dog beach. It is a bushland holiday park with swimming pools, an on-site restaurant and kangaroos grazing the grounds, and it takes dogs in designated cabins and on sites.

Dogs at the park

Dogs are accepted in designated pet-friendly cabins and on powered and unpowered sites, with the usual holiday-park conditions. Advise the park of your pet at booking, because approval is not automatic and it is typically one pet per booking unless arranged ahead. Leads stay on everywhere in the park except inside your own van or tent. Pets are never to be left unattended, and vaccination records may be requested at check-in. A minimum $200 cleaning fee can apply if a cabin is soiled, and aggressive or persistently noisy dogs will be asked to leave.

Getting there and parking

Access is via the Noosa River car ferry from Moorindil Street in Tewantin, with ferry fees applying, and the roads on the north shore are sealed the whole way, so no 4WD is needed. Your site or cabin has parking adjacent, which keeps the arrival and pack-down with a dog straightforward.

Worth knowing

The kangaroos are the real test here. Keep the lead short at dawn and dusk, when the roos come through the grounds to graze, and give any roo with a joey a wide berth. Midweek outside school holidays is the quiet window if you want space around you.

Nearby with the dogs

Noosa North Shore beach is the main event, a long, wild stretch with a signed dog-exercise area; check the council signage on the day, because zones and leash rules shift. When you ferry back to town, Cafe VinCino at Noosa Marina and Next Chapter Cafe are the listed dog-friendly Tewantin stops.
