Selby Lakeside Cottage is a two-bedroom pet-friendly holiday cottage on Lakeside Drive in Swansea, set between Lake Macquarie and the ocean with a fully fenced backyard for dogs to roam.

Who it suits. Couples or small families after a relaxed lake base with secure outdoor space for a dog that likes to roam off-lead in a fenced yard.

Before you book. Confirm the current per-night pet fee and any booking limits directly with the host, and pack your own dog bedding since none is supplied.

When to go. A solid base for a lake-and-beach long weekend. Good for dogs that settle indoors at night and are happy with fenced yard time rather than furniture access.
