The cottage is on Lakeside Drive in Swansea, on the channel between Lake Macquarie and the ocean at the top of the Central Coast-to-Newcastle coastal run. Parking is on site with the garage. Swansea town centre, with its shops and takeaway strip, is a couple of minutes away by car, and the lakefront is right there.

Close by with the dogs

Dog-friendly beaches sit about five minutes' drive away, and the Swansea Dog Exercise Area is the local off-lead ground. Across the lake, the Marks Point Dog Exercise Area adds a waterfront option. The Channel Cafe in town is the easy coffee stop.
