Shedding dogs can attract an extra cleaning fee of about AUD 50, and dogs that fall outside the small, non-shedding rule need prior approval directly from the owners. On the property, dogs stay on lead, must be toilet-trained to go outside, and any damage is at the owner's expense. Cats are generally not accepted.

Getting there and parking

Sunshine Beach sits just south of Noosa Heads, about 25 minutes from the Sunshine Motorway turn-off depending on traffic. The property is within walking distance of the surf club, Duke Street and the beach access tracks, so you can park the car once and leave it.

While you're out there

Noosa Shire designates the northern end of Sunshine Beach, from Beach Access 29 north toward the Noosa National Park boundary, as the off-leash zone, so that is where your dog gets its free run; access paths and the southern beach stay on-lead.
