The Deck

The Deck is a casual coastal eatery in the Sunshine Beach village on Duke Street, open daily from 7am to 2pm, serving all-day breakfast and lunch a short walk from the sand. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, which makes it an easy stop after a morning beach walk.

The dog setup

Dogs join you at the outdoor seating, on a lead and settled beside the table rather than wandering between them. The village-side tables have room for a water bowl, but bring your own to be sure on a busy weekend morning.

Max: this is a breakfast shift venue. It closes at 2pm, so the dog walk needs to happen early anyway, which conveniently is when the beach access track is at its coolest.

The vibe

It is a relaxed village cafe with an all-day menu that leans coastal: corn fritters, eggs benedict, barramundi and a daily specials board, plus BYO wine with no corkage. Feedback is more mixed than at the neighbouring coffee spots, so it reads as a convenient post-walk feed rather than a destination in itself.

Getting there

The cafe sits in the Duke Street village strip at Sunshine Beach, just south of Noosa Heads, with street parking around the village. The beach access track is a few minutes' walk away, so pairing a swim with breakfast is the natural circuit.

While you're out there

The Sunshine Beach Dog Off Leash Area, Beach Access #29 and North is the off-lead stretch to hit before breakfast. For coffee from serious roasters, Sunshine Social Coffee Roasters is on the same street and welcomes dogs on its lower deck.
