Dogs are allowed at the roughly 200 unpowered, 4WD-accessible foreshore tent sites along Flinders Beach, with a firm limit of two dogs per campsite and no published size restriction. No additional pet fee is mentioned by the operator, Minjerribah Camping. The rule that matters most: dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times, both within the campsite and out on Flinders Beach itself. There is no off-leash area here, and you are fully responsible for your pet; disruptive behaviour, aggression or constant barking can get you moved on by rangers. Note that Flinders Beach is a leash-on beach, with the island's designated off-leash zone sitting at Home Beach between Rocky Point and the Rocky Headland instead, and some sections near Amity Point prohibit dogs entirely, so read the local signage.

This is bare-bones camping. Facilities run to drop toilets, a dump point and grassy sites that vary in shelter and shade; there are no powered sites, shower blocks or cabins. The trade-off is direct beach access, wildlife viewing and a front-row coastal position that keeps the site well reviewed. You will need a 4WD to reach the camping areas, and pets travel on the vehicle ferries from Cleveland to Dunwich in or with your vehicle, not loose on the passenger decks.
