Horizons At Peregian

Horizons At Peregian is a beachfront apartment block at 45 Lorikeet Drive, Peregian Beach, right across the road from the sand with direct beach access, and it is one of the few holiday apartment properties on this stretch of the Sunshine Coast that takes dogs at all. The catch is a genuinely restrictive policy: one small dog per apartment, under 10kg, by prior arrangement only.

Dogs at Horizons

Approval is not a formality here. Dogs are only permitted in specific pet-designated apartments, so you must select the pet-friendly package online or phone the office before booking to be allocated one, and additional charges may apply. The house rules are specific: dogs must be house-trained and kept quiet, are not allowed on beds or lounges or in the pool area, must never be left unattended in the apartment or courtyards, stay leashed in the common areas, and owners bag waste immediately. Damage or soiling incurs extra charges. If your dog is over 10kg or you travel with two, this is not the fit.

The place

Guests highlight the beachfront setting, direct beach access and clean, roomy apartments, and the pet-friendly units are ground floor, which makes coming and going with a dog straightforward. The village with its cafes is a short walk, so beach mornings and coffee runs happen on foot without moving the car.

Out and about with the dog

Under Noosa Council rules, Peregian Beach itself is on leash between Beach Access 59 and 67 and off-limits in the patrolled bathing area and the dune reserves.
