Numinbah Valley Bush Camping

Springbrook National Park and Natural Bridge are a short drive away, but both prohibit pets, which makes this private campground the practical base if the dog is coming along.

Campfires are allowed, subject to fire bans, and the property has a no-fly policy for drones and no chainsaws. Day visitors pay a separate fee, so let anyone dropping by know. There is no published street address beyond the road, so take directions from the booking page and confirm current rates and site availability before you drive up.

Getting there and parking

The campground sits on the Nerang-Murwillumbah Road as it winds through the valley, roughly 40 minutes from Nerang and about the same from Springbrook's turn-off. You park at your site. Coming from the Gold Coast, stock up in Nerang before the climb, since there are no shops in the valley.

Close by with the dogs

Back down the valley, Grazeway in Nerang is the dog-friendly coffee stop on your way in or out, while The Headmasters Cafe up on the Beechmont range works if you approach from that side. The Kamholtz Family Fenced Dog Park in Nerang is a good last off-leash stop before the leash goes on for the valley.
