Getting there and out with the dog

Yates Road sits off the Bussell Highway side of town, and the quiet rural roads around the property are good for an on-lead walk morning and evening. For proper off-lead time, the Brookfield Dog Park is on the edge of town. Dog-friendly beaches are a short drive, though many coastal sections here border national park where dogs are prohibited, so check the council signage before you let the leash off. Several regional cellar doors, including Cape Mentelle, welcome dogs in their outdoor areas.
