Kinka Beach itself is a two-minute walk for the daily walk, and being just off the Scenic Highway puts both Yeppoon and Emu Park within a ten-minute drive. Outside peak summer holidays is the quietest window, and early morning or late afternoon is the time for the beach when the sand is not hot.

The lodge sits on the Scenic Highway at Kinka Beach, roughly midway between Yeppoon to the north and Emu Park to the south, about 40 minutes from Rockhampton. Parking is on site at the units.
