The Blue Water Motel is a renovated retro-style motel a short walk from Kingscliff Beach, and it is genuinely dog-friendly with a clear, published pet policy, which makes it an easy option to plan around.

The pet policy. One dog per room, with a $50 pet fee per stay. You need to book direct and pay the pet fee before arrival, so the standard booking sites will not lock in the pet arrangement for you. Dogs must be supervised and cannot be left unattended in the room. The policy covers dogs only, not other pets.
