Quest Geelong is a serviced apartment hotel in the Geelong CBD, a short walk from the station and the Corio Bay waterfront. It is one of the few apartment style stays in central Geelong that takes dogs, with a small pool of pet friendly apartments you need to line up before you arrive.

Dogs need to be supervised and agreed to the property's conditions. The apartment format works in your favour: full kitchens in the one to three bedroom layouts, in room laundry for wiping down wet towels, and hard floors that make cleanup straightforward.

Worth knowing

Undercover parking is available on site but spots are limited and there is a height limit on the entry, so reserve a space at the same time as the room if you are driving in. Daily housekeeping runs most days of the week. The location is walkable: the art gallery and the performing arts centre are close, and the waterfront boardwalks along the bay suit an on lead morning loop.

Getting there and out with the dog

You are in the middle of Geelong, so nothing needs a car. The Bay Trail along the waterfront is the obvious daily walk, and Wilsonson Heights Dog Park in Newtown is a short drive for an off lead run. If you are continuing through the region, The Urban in Newtown is another pet friendly base nearby, and the Barwon River trails are worth a morning.
