Mandurah Quay Resort is a villa-style resort on the Peel estuary at 40 Marina Quay Drive in Erskine, about an hour south of Perth, and one of the more straightforward pet-friendly stays around Mandurah. The difference here is access: dogs are allowed inside the villas themselves, not relegated to a balcony or an outdoor kennel.

The vibe

It suits owners who want a self-contained base with real indoor access for the dog and do not mind the fee-and-bond structure that comes with it. Pet spots are managed rather than automatic, so book ahead and lock in approval before you travel.
Getting there and parking
Free parking sits at the villas, and the location earns its keep: Boundary Island Brewery is roughly 100 metres away for a dog-friendly meal, and the estuary foreshore path runs right outside the door for morning walks.
Make a day of it
The brewery covers dinner, and mornings belong to the water. For a proper off-lead run, the Mandurah Fenced Dog Park at Dudley Park is a short drive north, and the Halls Head Dog Beach puts sand and swimming on the menu. Closer to the villas, Maggies Muster Cafe in Erskine does a casual coffee stop.
