Muzz Buzz - Erskine

Muzz Buzz Erskine is the drive-thru coffee box on Mandurah's southern side, and it belongs in a dog-owner's round of errands for one reason: the chain is famously good to dogs in the car. Free pup cup giveaways run across Muzz Buzz stores regularly, and staff at the window are used to a snout poking out of the passenger seat.

The dog setup

This is a drive-thru first and foremost, so the way to bring your dog is exactly how they like it: riding along. The baristas hand out free puppacinos and treats to dogs at the window when the giveaways are on, and there is no need to leave the car at all. Whether this branch has outdoor tables for a sit-down stop is not confirmed, so if you want to get out and stretch legs here, ring ahead on (08) 9583 3248 before counting on it.

The vibe

Quick, friendly and consistent: mochas and iced coffees are the regular orders, and reviewers rate the staff warmly. Doors open from 6am on weekdays and 7am on Sundays, closing at 5pm weekdays and 4pm weekends, which suits an early run before the day gets going.

Getting there and parking

Drive-thru access means no parking stress at all, which is half the point of a stop like this with a dog aboard. It sits in the Erskine shopping pocket south of central Mandurah, an easy pull-in off the main roads.

Close by with the dogs

Turn the coffee run into a walk at the fenced Mandurah Fenced Dog Park in Dudley Park, or head for the sand at Halls Head Dog Beach. For a sit-down option in the same suburb, Maggies Muster Cafe is the local dog-friendly favourite.
