Origin House Carool is a two bedroom retreat on the Wirui Estate coffee plantation at 117 Blissetts Road, in the Tweed Hinterland just across the river from Tumbulgum. The house is a glass and steel build looking over rolling plantation country, with views out towards the coast, and the setting is genuinely rural: coffee rows, native wildlife and quiet roads. Dogs are welcomed on request, which makes this one of the few pet-friendly stays in the narrower end of the Tweed rather than the beach strip.

Carool sits in the hills between Tumbulgum and the Gold Coast border crossing, roughly 15 minutes from Tumbulgum village via Tumbulgum Road and Blissetts Road. The last stretch is narrow rural road with some gravel, fine for any standard vehicle, and the house has its own off-street parking at the door.
