Murwillumbah Showground

Murwillumbah Showground runs a 25-site campground right by the town centre, popular for caravan and camping stopovers with mountain views from the flats and an easy walk into Murwillumbah's cafes and the Tweed River. It is plain, well-run camping where the dog is genuinely part of the plan.

Because this is a working showground that hosts events, keep dogs leashed and under control throughout, and check the event schedule before you lock in dates.

While you're out there

Walk into town along the river for coffee and supplies, or head a few minutes south for a long, flat leg-stretch on the Northern Rivers Rail Trail: Tweed Section. If the showground is booked out around an event, Tweed River Motel is the fallback in town.
