Byron Stay

Byron Stay is a pet-friendly holiday rental within walking distance of central Byron Bay and the beaches. Dogs at the Byron Stay

Dogs are welcome inside the home and have access to a fully fenced, secure grassed front yard with 1.2 metre fencing, with up to two quiet, house-trained dogs typically accepted. If your dog barks when left alone, keep it indoors while you are out to mind the neighbours. Pet bowls are provided, and you should bring your own bedding. Pet fees and any cleaning surcharge are not published, so confirm the fee and exact rules directly when you book.

The place

It is a self-contained house with a private courtyard and garden, an outdoor hot and cold shower handy for rinsing a sandy dog after the beach, and off-street parking, all a short walk from the town dining precinct. For a couple or small family on foot, that combination means you can leave the car parked for the whole stay.

Close by with the dogs

The town centre, cafes and beaches are all walkable. Belongil Beach South dog exercise area is the spot for off-lead time on the sand, and Leaf & Grain is one of the town's dog-friendly cafe options. If Byron Stay is booked out, Shirley Blue is another stay in the same suburb to check.

Max: The outdoor shower exists for a reason. Rinse the dog before it reaches the couch.
