Nearby with the dogs. Breamlea Beach and the surrounding dune and coastal vegetation trails are right at the park's doorstep, though check local signage for on-lead sections. Barwon Heads, about ten minutes away, has a wider spread of dog-friendly cafes if you want more options during your stay.

When to go. Book as soon as the winter season dates are confirmed each year, sites fill fast. This suits owners after a quiet off-season beach break with their dog rather than a peak-summer stay, since dogs aren't permitted over the warmer months at all.
