The main shops, cafes and riverfront are a 5 to 10 minute walk away, and the Ocean Grove to Barwon Heads track runs along the river for an on-lead walk. On the beach, dogs are permitted off lead at all times between markers 30W and 34W, and are prohibited west of marker 40W and between 27W and 30W, so read the signage on the day. Lill-Brey on Barwon is a pet friendly stay nearby, and Tommy Gunns and the Beach House are the local eating options.
