Getting there. Street parking sits directly out front and on neighbouring streets, but fills fast on weekends and through summer. Parking further down Hitchcock Avenue or on side streets like Bridge Road is the fallback.

Nearby with the dogs. Village Park and the Barwon River paths are a short walk away. Note the estuary beaches require dogs on-lead in signed areas, and dogs are kept out of the dunes and wildlife nesting zones - check Barwon Coast signage before you head down.

When to go. A weekday or an early weekend slot is best for a patio table and a park. Summer evenings are the busiest, so book if you want a set spot with the dog.
