Willowview Farmstay

There are dams on the property, so supervise dogs that are not strong swimmers or that like to chase birds. Expect an open fireplace, a large deck with farm views and an outdoor fire pit. Phone reception is patchy, which suits the switch-off pitch of the stay but is worth planning around if you rely on a phone for a vet contact.

Getting there and nearby

Access is via the Hume Motorway (M31), exiting towards Marulan and following George Street onto Brayton Road. Marulan, 10 minutes away, has Meridian Cafe and Lazy George Cafe for a dog-friendly coffee stop. Goulburn, about 25 minutes north, has several fenced off-leash parks including Victoria Park and Riverside Park if your dog needs a proper run after the drive.

Who it suits

Best for owners after a genuine switch-off with a farm-savvy, sociable dog comfortable around livestock and open water. Less suited to a dog that is reactive around animals or anxious near dams. It is a small, popular stay with only two dwellings, so book ahead, confirm the pet fee, and pack your own supplies plus a long lead for the driveway walks.
