Riverside Park Fenced Dog Park

Riverside Park Fenced Dog Park is a fully fenced off-leash area within the larger 23-hectare Riverside Park on Quiberon Way, Goulburn. It is a flat, open run of grass with easy paved access, sitting along the Wollondilly walking track, so it pairs well with a longer on-leash stroll.

The rules. The enclosure is off-leash and fenced, but dogs must be on-leash in the wider park and around the playground. Supervise your dog and keep it under voice control, and pick up after it. One practical caveat from regulars: check the base of the fence if you have a very small or escape-prone dog, as gaps have been reported in spots.

What's there. A water fountain with a dog-bowl attachment, poo bags supplied, and a rubbish bin on-site. Public toilets sit nearby between the playground and the dog park. The space is open and sunny with little natural shade, and it can get windy.

Getting there. 36 Quiberon Way, Goulburn, with free parking adjacent. It is an easy walk from surrounding streets via the Wollondilly track, and a short drive from the town centre.

When to go. Quieter on weekdays and Sunday afternoons, busier on weekends. In warmer months stick to early morning or evening. Best suited to dogs who like open space to stretch out and run.
