Blayney Tourist Park

Blayney Tourist Park is a family-run caravan and camping park at 38 Farm Lane, a couple of minutes from Blayney's town centre in the Central West of NSW. It takes dogs seriously enough to offer fenced sites and a dedicated off-leash area, rather than just tolerating them on the grass.

Dogs at the park

Dogs are welcome on powered and unpowered sites, including the drive-through and en suite powered options, but not inside cabins or the amenities blocks. Keep dogs on a lead everywhere except the on-site off-leash area, and pick up droppings straight away; waste bag dispensers sit near the laundry and in the off-leash area. Well-trained, non-barking dogs are the expectation and stays are at the manager's discretion, so a noisy or reactive dog may not fit. No specific pet fee is published, so ask when booking.

The setup

Some sites are fenced specifically for dog security, which matters if you are travelling solo with a dog that likes to wander. The park mixes grass and slab sites with generous room for caravans and motorhomes, and guests regularly call out the clean amenities, good showers, camp kitchen and the resident rabbits that give the grounds a bit of character.

The vibe

This is a straightforward stopover park with friendly managers and a quiet rural outlook. It works any time of year, quieter on weekdays, and suits travellers with a well-mannered dog that does not need cabin access.

Getting there and out with the dog

The park sits a short drive or walk from Blayney's centre, with easy access from local roads. Rural walking routes surround town, and if you want a change of scene, the Heritage Park off-leash area on Adelaide Street gives another run. Millthorpe, a heritage village with dog-friendly outdoor dining, is a short drive east.

While you're out there

The Glenorie Road Off Leash Dog Area at Millthorpe is a fenced option in the next village, and if you would rather have a cabin, the Millthorpe Motel supplies dog beds in its pet rooms.
