The dog setup
Dogs have the run of the outdoor seating, both the tables out front on Normanby Street and the sheltered alleyway down the side, which is covered for shade and rain. Staff are known for being genuinely welcoming to dogs and often put water bowls out, though bringing your own is wise on busy evenings. The indoor dining room stays dog-free, so if the weather turns foul the covered alley is your fallback rather than indoors.
Max: the alley tables stay dry in a shower, but Friday nights fill early, so aim for the late afternoon if you want a corner spot.
The vibe
Hours run 6:30am to 2pm Monday to Thursday, extending to 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday and 8pm on Sunday, so it covers breakfast through dinner depending on the day. The menu moves with it: eggs benedict and corn fritters in the morning, pulled pork nachos, calamari and poke bowls later, with celiac-friendly options called out. Live music and a cocktail list give evenings a different feel from the weekday coffee crowd.
Getting there and parking
Normanby Street is the main strip through Yeppoon, with on-street parking along the block and council carparks a short walk away. The venue sits a few minutes up from the Foreshore, which makes it an easy stop after an on-lead walk along the water.
Make a day of it
Yeppoon has a tight cluster of dog-friendly tables: The Cheeky Fork on James Street and Chapter are both close by, while Two Sisters Coffee Bar sits out at Cooee Bay. If you are making a morning of the Capricorn Coast, The Waterline Restaurant at Keppel Bay Marina in Rosslyn is a short drive south, with pet-friendly deck seating over the marina.
