Two Sisters Coffee Bar

Two Sisters Coffee Bar is a Cooee Bay local known for Campos coffee and a big shady courtyard, with a proper fenced dog area out the back so your dog can run while you eat. For a Capricorn Coast cafe run, it is the one built around the dog rather than merely tolerating it.

The dog setup

There is a dedicated fenced-off area at the back of the outdoor seating where dogs can go off-lead, and several tables sit right against the fence so you can keep an eye on things while you eat. Water bowls are provided and staff regularly hand out complimentary treats to canine visitors.

Worth knowing

This is a breakfast and brunch spot that closes at 1pm every day: 5:15am to 1pm on weekdays and 6am to 1pm on weekends. The cabinet runs to salted caramel pecan brownies, white chocolate cheesecake, bacon and egg toasties and acai bowls, and the Campos coffee is consistently rated by the regulars. The entrance, seating and parking are all wheelchair accessible.

Getting there and parking

It is at 99 Matthew Flinders Drive, Cooee Bay, just south of Yeppoon, with a free car park plus street parking out front. The beach at Cooee Bay is close by, so pairing a swim and a walk with coffee is the natural shape of the morning.

Make a day of it

For a structured off-lead run after brunch, the Lammermoor Dog park is the next bay along. In Yeppoon itself, Cafe 63 Yeppoon and Chapter keep dog-friendly tables on the same Capricorn Coast circuit.
