Enzo's on the Beach

Enzo's on the Beach is a beachfront cafe and bar at 1/355 The Esplanade in Scarness, right on the Hervey Bay foreshore, and it is one of the more genuinely dog-set-up venues on the strip. The draw is the position: panoramic bay views and bean-bag lounges on the sand.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas, the undercover front deck and the bean-bag seating out on the sand, but not in the enclosed indoor dining room. Water bowls are provided. If you are booking, mention the dog so they can seat you somewhere suitable.

Good to know. It runs breakfast, lunch and dinner, with dinner from Thursday to Sunday and a happy hour on drinks. The ocean outlook is the main event, so it gets busy at sunset.

Getting there. Street parking runs along the Esplanade and can be tight at peak times. The venue sits right on the foreshore walking path, so walking in is easy.

Nearby with the dogs. The paved Esplanade track runs the length of the bay right out front, and the grassy Scarness foreshore parkland is good for a stroll either side of a meal. Check local signage for leash rules on the beach itself.
