Chandlers Kitchen

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating, including the footpath dining along the front, but not in the indoor dining room. Staff are accommodating, so ask for a water bowl or bring a travel one. The strip can be busy with prams and bikes on weekends, so a settled dog with a short lead does best here.

The draw is ocean and garden views with a well-regarded breakfast and lunch built on Australian produce, and Friday and Saturday dinner runs its own menu with pork belly and market fish and chips. Weekday breakfast or lunch is the easy slot with a dog, and the Friday or Saturday dinner sitting is worth booking ahead.

Getting there and parking

The address is 17 Rockingham Beach Road on the central foreshore strip, with street parking along the road and nearby public bays a flat walk away. Foreshore parking fills on warm weekends, so arrive early.

Spill the Beans at Palm Beach Jetty and Jaffelato cover coffee and treats further along the strip, and Churchill Park across the road suits an on-leash walk.
