Jetty Coffee Co.

Jetty Coffee Co. is a casual coffee and takeaway kiosk at 47 Banana Street, Redland Bay, sitting directly opposite the marina and ferry terminal with wide views across the bay to the Southern Moreton Bay Islands. It is a genuinely dog-friendly stop and a natural first or last coffee around an island ferry run or a foreshore walk, with the boats and the water doing most of the decorating.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the undercover outdoor seating in front of the kiosk, kept on a lead by your side while you order. Water bowls are provided, and the kiosk has built a local reputation for complimentary pup cups, so it is worth simply asking the barista when you arrive. Everything happens outdoors; there is no indoor area to worry about, and the foreshore right opposite gives a restless dog somewhere to look at.

What is on the counter

The draw is quality coffee and specialty drinks, backed by light snacks: paninis, breakfast wraps and pastries, with vegan options and smoothies in the mix. Hours run early, from 5:30am on weekdays and 6:30am on weekends through to early afternoon, which makes it a proper dawn-patrol stop for dog walkers on the foreshore path. It closes at 3pm on weekdays and 12:30pm on weekends, so this is breakfast and lunch territory only.

Getting there and parking

The kiosk sits on Banana Street, directly opposite the Redland Bay ferry and barge area. Free street parking runs along Banana Street, and it is an easy pull-in if you are towing a boat or driving through with a dog in the car. The whole forecourt is flat and open.

Close by with the dogs

The Jack Gordon Pathway runs along the water opposite the kiosk for an easy on-lead walk either side of coffee. For an off-lead run, Main Street Park Fenced Dog Park is close by. If you want a sit-down brunch instead, Merak GF Artisan Deli Cafe is another Redland Bay option.
