A long-running, busy cafe restaurant on Redcliffe Parade, directly opposite the Redcliffe Jetty. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, which makes it a reliable refuel after a foreshore walk.

The dog setup. Dogs are allowed in the outdoor pavement seating, French-bistro style with a view of the jetty. Dogs stay outdoors and are not permitted in the indoor dining room. Staff are accommodating and often bring a water bowl; bring your own to be safe.

Good to know. Reviewers call out the coffee, vanilla slices, gelato and fish and chips, with a solid range of vegetarian and vegan options. There is table service and step-free access.

Getting there. Free street parking runs along Redcliffe Parade and nearby streets, with a free public car park close by. Weekends are tight, so aim for before 9am or after 1pm.

Nearby with the dogs. The paved seaside path is right out front, the jetty walkway is a few steps away, and Suttons Beach is a short walk or drive for time on the sand.

When to go. Mid-morning weekends are the busiest stretch; Sunday afternoons ease off. Good for a no-fuss breakfast or coffee with a settled dog.
