Banks

Banks is a renovated waterfront restaurant on McInherney Close in Port Macquarie, trading on the view over the water as much as the menu: seasonal modern Australian plates, fresh seafood, housemade banana bread and a proper wine and cocktail list. It runs lunch and dinner Thursday to Sunday and is a booked-table kind of place rather than a walk-in coffee stop.

Dogs at Banks

No pet policy is published on the venue's own pages, and the main dining room is indoor, where dogs are off the menu under standard NSW food rules. If you want your dog along, call ahead and ask whether an outdoor or water-view table can take a leashed dog on the day; do not count on it without confirming. A settled dog on a short lead is the ask wherever you end up, and bring your own water bowl.
