Jonez on Ephraim

Jonez on Ephraim is a modern bayside restaurant at 2/18-20 Ephraim Island Parade on the northern Gold Coast broadwater, with water views over the marina. It is a refined sit-down room with a seasonal Modern Australian menu, and for dog owners it is an alfresco proposition: the outdoor boardwalk-level tables are where a calm, well-settled dog is welcome.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor alfresco area on the boardwalk level, not inside the main dining room, with service animals the indoor exception. The kitchen leans seafood-ward with a fine-dining hand: twice-baked goat's cheese souffle, tempura of caramelised wild prawns, crab linguine, crispy-skin salmon and pan-roasted barramundi, with the menu rotating seasonally. Lunch runs from 11:30am Wednesday to Sunday, dinner from 5:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday, and the restaurant is closed Monday. Hours shift with the season, so confirm when you book.

Getting there and parking

Ephraim Island sits just off the Gold Coast Oceanway strip at the northern end of the coast, reached over the Ephraim Island bridge. Free on-site and street parking are generally available around the precinct and the bridge approach, though it tightens at weekend lunch.
