What visitors mention
Burgster is a casual American-style burger joint on Philippine Parade in Palm Beach, a couple of minutes back from the oceanfront. It is genuinely dog-friendly, with a covered back patio that works well for owners.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor, partly covered patio, the shadier spot and the obvious choice for pet owners. Customers report dogs are usually let through the room to reach the back patio, and water bowls are often brought out. The room can get loud and busy, so keep your dog on lead and tucked under the table out of the walkway.
Good to know. The smash-patty burgers are the headline and rate among the Gold Coast's best, backed by margaritas, independent beers on tap and good morning coffee. Hours are split across the week and it is closed Monday and Tuesday, so check before you head down.
Getting there. At 4/10 Philippine Parade, just off the Gold Coast Highway and a short two-to-three minute walk from the Palm Beach oceanfront. Free street parking runs along Philippine Parade and nearby streets, and gets busy on weekends.
Nearby with the dogs. The Beree-Badalla boardwalk along Currumbin Creek suits a leashed walk, and the off-leash dog beaches at the southern end near Currumbin and north at Tallebudgera are both a short drive for a proper run.
