What visitors mention
PACHINKO is a modern Japanese eatery in the pedestrianised Quadrant Mall, and its alfresco tables out in the mall are dog-friendly, a relaxed spot to eat with the dog away from traffic.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables in the Quadrant Mall directly outside, on flat paved pedestrian ground, while the dining room indoors is not for dogs. Bring a short lead to secure the dog beside the table; water bowls may come on request, but pack your own to be sure.
Good to know. The menu is creative modern Japanese small plates and share dishes with a good drinks list, and the room runs lively and popular, especially on weekends.
Getting there. Address is 23 Quadrant Mall. The closest parking is the Quadrant Mall car park at the end of the mall, with metered street parking on Cameron and Paterson Streets nearby. The mall itself is flat and pram and wheelchair accessible.
Nearby with the dogs. The Quadrant Mall is pleasant to stroll, City Park is a few minutes walk for green space, and Cataract Gorge (on-leash) is a short drive for a bigger walk.
When to go. The outdoor tables are calmest on weekdays and earlier in the evening; weekend nights get busy, so book and arrive ahead of the rush for a settled spot.
