Aroma's is a long-running family cafe at the southern end of the Charles Street strip, and dogs are openly welcome at the front outdoor tables, a handy coffee stop on a walk.

When to go. Mornings are busiest; come slightly off the brunch peak for a calmer outdoor table with room for the dog.
