Pumpyard Bar & Brewery (now Stony Creek Brewing)

Stony Creek Brewing, the independent brewery formerly trading as Pumpyard Bar & Brewery, sits at 88 Limestone Street in central Ipswich. It is genuinely dog-friendly in its outdoor laneway, and runs a regular Brew Dog Sunday aimed squarely at dogs and their owners.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor laneway seating, which has room for both dogs and owners, and water bowls are often put out. Keep your dog on a lead. Getting there. Street parking runs along Limestone Street and the surrounding blocks, with nearby paid council car parks as backup.

Nearby with the dogs. Queens Park and Limestone Park are both a short hop for a walk before or after, and the Rafter and Rose cafe nearby welcomes dogs in its shaded laneway.

Brew Dog Sunday is the day to aim for. Otherwise an afternoon before the music starts is the calmer window.
