What visitors mention
Wharf One Food & Wine sits on the Darwin Waterfront with views over the marina, a relaxed waterfront restaurant that openly welcomes dogs in its alfresco area. It is one of the more clearly pet-positive of the precinct's dining options.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor alfresco dining area, not inside the main restaurant. Staff will bring a dish of water for your dog on request. Ask for a table near the edge of the boardwalk so there is room for a dog to lie down while you eat.
Good to know. The menu centres on wood-fired cooking, local seafood and premium steaks, paired with an extensive wine and cocktail list. It is a strong spot for sunset drinks and dining over the water.
Getting there. Find it at 13/21-25 Mews Road in the Waterfront precinct. Paid parking is at the Waterfront parking deck off Kitchener Drive, with on-street parking along Mews Road, and you can walk in from the CBD and Esplanade.
Nearby with the dogs. The Waterfront boardwalk is paved and popular for on-lead walks, with grassed parkland nearby. Vestey's Beach at Larrakeyah is a short drive for a dog-friendly beach.
