The pizzas come generously loaded, with a long menu covering traditional and gourmet styles alongside fresh bases, and the chicken parmigiana has its own following. There is a solid spread of pasta, plus vegetarian and vegan options. Hours run evenings only: 4:30pm to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, extending to 11pm on Friday and Saturday, so it is a dinner call rather than a lunch stop.

Getting there and parking

Beach Road is the main strip through Christies Beach, with the plaza car park next door and the beach end of town a few minutes on foot down Beach Road itself. It sits about 35 minutes south of Adelaide on the southern coastal rail and bus corridor.

Down on the water, The Ripple & Swirl Cafe welcomes dogs on its Esplanade porch with water buckets on hand, and FLAVA Cafe covers the coffee-and-sea-view side of the strip.
