Brouhaha Maleny is a well-known boutique brewery and kitchen at 6/39 Maple Street, in a complex just off the main strip. Dogs are welcome on the deck, so it works as a relaxed spot to sit out with a tasting paddle and a plate of local produce while the dog settles beside you.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome on-leash on the renovated outdoor deck, which is the main pet-friendly area. Indoors is generally people only. Water bowls are often out and staff are good with dogs, but carry your own bowl to be safe. The deck is popular, so book ahead through their website and note that you are bringing a dog.

Good to know. The beer list leans on house brews like the Strawberry Rhubarb Sour and Maleny Lager, and the kitchen runs local-produce dishes such as Maleny wagyu sausage and mash and crispy pork belly. Weekend Sunday sessions are the busy draw.

Getting there. There is on-site parking plus street parking on Maple Street, both of which fill on weekends. It is tucked in a complex off the main street, so watch for the brewery signage.

Nearby with the dogs. Gardners Falls is a short drive for a shallow creek swim and easy tracks. The Maple Street strip itself is a dog-friendly stroll with plenty of outdoor cafe seating.

Best on a weekend afternoon if you want the buzz, or a quieter weekday if your dog prefers calm.
