Maleny Dog Park (designated off leash area)

Maleny Community Precinct Dog Park is a fully fenced off-leash area on Parkland Drive, off Porters Lane in North Maleny, with separate enclosures for small and large dogs and natural shade throughout.

The rules. Dogs can run off leash inside the fenced enclosures, but need to go back on lead anywhere else in the precinct. Owners are expected to keep dogs under effective voice control and to remove waste immediately. Check the signage on arrival, since council can update local rules.

When to go. Weekend mornings between 9 and 11am are the busiest stretch. Weekday mornings or early afternoons are quieter and better if your dog needs more space to settle in.
