Limestone Coast Brewing Baldivis

Limestone Coast Brewing pours its own Western Australian craft beers at the Baldivis Tap Room in the Settlers Hill Shopping Village on Arpenteur Drive. It works as both a brewery and a restaurant: beer drawn straight from the tanks, wood-fired pizzas, seafood plates and burgers, all served around a covered patio and veranda that look over a grassed area. Dogs are welcome in those outdoor zones, which makes the tap room a natural anchor for a Baldivis walk-and-lunch loop.

The dog setup

The venue's own FAQ is clear: dogs are welcome in the outdoor patio and veranda areas, and the indoor dining room stays for assistance animals only, in line with food safety rules. Keep your dog leashed and settled, and aim for a patio table with a clear view of the lawn rather than a spot wedged against the doorway. Water bowls are not guaranteed at every table, so carry a collapsible one and fill it from the taps.

The kitchen runs from breakfast through to dinner, with garlic prawns, beef cheeks, pork belly and the chicken parmi among the regulars, and live music often on Sundays. Vegans and vegetarians get real options, not a side salad.

Max: ask for an outer patio table on the veranda edge. You get the breeze, the grass view and a clear exit route when another dog walks past.

Getting there and parking

The tap room sits at 7/59 Arpenteur Drive, an easy turn off the Kwinana Freeway's Baldivis exits, with free parking right at the Settlers Hill Shopping Village. From the car park it is a short, flat walk to the patio, which matters if you are managing a lead, a coffee and a dog at the same time.

Close by with the dogs

For an off-leash run before lunch, the Baldivis Fenced Dog Park on Acrasia Road is fully enclosed with separate small-dog and large-dog sections and drinking fountains. If a bush walk suits better, the Don Shepherd Nature Reserve Trail is a quiet wildflower walk, or the Serpentine River Crossing and River Walk after rain. On a second day, The Chase Bar & Bistro is the other dog-friendly table in the suburb.
