Sorrento is an Italian restaurant and bar at Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach, serving wood-fired pizza and pasta with the yachts and the Whitsundays in front of you. It is one of the more reliably dog-friendly sit-down spots in town, with a covered ocean deck set aside for pets.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome on the lower ocean deck, a covered patio that keeps shade overhead while you stay right over the water. Nearby with the dogs. The Bicentennial Walkway runs past the marina toward Cannonvale for a long coastal walk, the marina's public areas are fine for a leashed stroll, and Shingley Beach sits just north.

Best for an early dinner or sundowner on the lower deck. Good for leashed, settled dogs who handle a busy venue with live music.
